At Furniture Mine, we accept donations of a lot more than just re-usable furniture*!  Yes, our core business is re-usable items such as

  • sofas, armchairs, 2 & 3 piece suites
  • wardrobes & dressing tables
  • beds - singles, bunks, doubles, etc
  • dining tables & chairs
  • bookcases & wall units
  • cabinets
  • sets of drawers
  • and lots more

But we also now accept donations of -

  • small electrical items such as TV's, lamps, kettles, microwaves, and so on
  • books, DVDs, vinyl, & computer games
  • small collectibles such as vases & ceramics
  • household items such as kitchen ware & crockery
  • framed pictures and mirrors

Unfortunately we do not currently collect children's toys, clothes, or used appliances.

*Please note - furniture with a fabric covering, such as a sofa, an armchair, or a divan bed, must have a fire label stating the item conforms to the 1988 fire regulations.  Without this label, we are unable to accept the donated item. The only exception would be if it's an antique or retro item which pre-dates the 1988 legislation.  Please call to discuss on 01782 846111.
