Bulky Item Collection Newcastle and Staffordshire MoorlandsIf you've got unwanted household items that are too large for your bin or to transport to your local recycling centre - such as a fridge, mattress, sofa, tables, chairs, washing machine and cooker etc - we can collect it through your local council.

Emmaus Furniture Mine collect bulky waste items under contract for Newcastle-Under-Lyme Borough Council and Staffordshire Moorlands District Council, helping to reduce the amount of landfill and recycling furniture and household items so they can have a new start.

Unfortunately we cannot offer this service in Stoke-on-Trent - please call the City Council on 01782 234 234 for their bulky waste service.

What items we will collect

Our team will pick up any large and bulky waste items such as sofas, beds and other furniture. Any large and bulky recyclable items such as large metal appliances like fridges, washing machines, freezers, cookers etc can also be collected.

Recycled Furniture & Other Household Items

All items which are reusable are cleaned, checked and then provided to homes in need as part of our service offering. They are displayed in our warehouse and shop for anyone to buy quality second hand furniture & household items - this helps reduce the amount of waste going to landfill.

To request a bulky item collection from Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council or from Staffordshire Moorlands District Council please use the form below.

Please note, if your items can be reused it will be collected free of charge. However, if the items are damaged, unusable and require disposing of in an environmentally friendly way, then there is a £35 charge payable to Furniture Mine for up to 3 items and then an additional charge for more than 3 items.
